Ralph Fiennes is particularly bad and one note in this — everyone is particularly one note in this, talking in British monotone at each other in a Mickey Mouse treasure hunt of a script. The flashbacks are particularly cringe-worthy and the soundtrack is off-putting. I haven't read the novel, but I sure want to imagine a plot that involves Big Pharma testing on those who can't help themselves reads better than it films.
