Oppenheim made a beautiful-looking film, a glowing portrait of neuroses with all the shimmer of neon and the grain of the subject matter. Pattinson still on his kicker to make the most interesting films he can after Twilight and Batman, and Merritt Weaver should get an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. She might have been the best thing on screen for all two hours. Chewing gum like a pro.
